St. Francis Catholic High School
St. Francis Catholic High School was established by the Diocese of St. Augustine in 2004 and is the only Catholic high school in north central Florida. St. Francis is a 4-year co-educational school with 250 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve, from various faiths, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The mission of St. Francis Catholic High School is to develop young men and women into leaders who exhibit service, faith, community, honor, and scholarship.
St. Francis is a faith-based environment in which students are encouraged to openly share and develop their beliefs. Students have daily prayer, weekly mass, and annual class retreats. Students are also encouraged to give back to their community and serve others. During the 2009-2010 school year, students and parents at St. Francis performed over 11,000 hours of community service to a variety of organizations throughout north central Florida.
St. Francis Catholic High School is more than just a school. Students are not only receiving a top-notch academic education, demonstrated by our 100% graduation and college acceptance rates, but they are also learning essential life skills through participation in extracurricular activities and community service projects. St. Francis students are making a difference in their communities and their world every day. The St. Francis experience is unparalleled in north central Florida.
Tuition Assistance Fund
Since St. Francis opened 8 years ago, it has always been a top priority to offer tuition assistance to help lessen the financial burden on families. We do our best to meet the needs of every family, however we are unable to provide 100% of the tuition assistance requested.
Approximately 36% of the students who attend St. Francis apply for and receive tuition assistance each year. The amount that families are requesting has increased dramatically over the past few years as the economy has declined. However donations to the tuition assistance fund have plummeted.
Unfortunately, some families choose not to send their students to St. Francis because they are not given enough tuition assistance. How can you help our students continue a Catholic education? Please visit the Purchase Tickets, Sponsorship, and Donate pages to learn more about how you can help.
